What a great talk! In NJ they have “zipper merge” signs, which I wish people would use in CA. People just don’t seem to get that whole taking turns concept

You’re absolutely right. They might also be confused how to take “turns” on a straightaway. They are a very literal people, those Californians. Since the sign reads “take turns” – the entire population could be lost driving in circles, taking every turn the come upon. Sad really.
